Church Dedication January 21st

What an awesome evening – the sanctuary was packed, the facilities beautiful, and God’s presence sweet! On Saturday evening, January 21st, NeXus Church dedicated both its refurbished facilities and staff to God’s work in a great time of celebration and thanksgiving to God. Perhaps the highlight of the evening was ordaining Helen Ohpokowuruk as Pastor of Children’s Ministry (along with her husband) for NeXus Church. Helen has sacrificially served and led this work and the ordination was a well-deserved recognition of this divine calling on her life!

Church Growth and G-12

Jesus birthed His Church to transform the world through choosing and investing His life for three years in 12 disciples. Discipleship is the foundation for effective church growth. In 2012, NeXus Church will apply this model in forming G-12 groups under the leadership of Pastors Noah and Phillis Manyika (following up their Friday evening training meetings last fall). The G-12 groups will develop leadership and serving skills as well as recognition of God’s calling in your life. Let one of the NeXus pastors know you want to participate in the first G-12 group.
